NTC- Degrade

Hello.

I cannot believe another week has passed already !

Here we are again with our NailTeamChallenge and our 13th theme : degrade. This was proposed by Alina .

This is a technique I reallly really like but I am not very good at doing it. TO be honest, I did a lot of colour combinations and I cleaned up a lot of nails before I was happy (just a figure of speech) with something. This is one of the main reasons my manicure is pink. (the two colours I used blended in the best)

This is a simple manicure, nothing fancy: some dotticure and some stamping.

Wear yellow for Seth

Hello hello!

You know that since I started my blog I've done a few "support" manicures - I am the most proud about the "ThinkPink" ones (Breast cancer awareness).

Today I decided to do another manicure like that.

I am sure that by now many of you have heard about little Seth! You can read more about him here ---> OurLittleHero

He's the cutest and the most powerful 5y/o I've ever seen in my life : that's why I will do this blog post.

Close to my heart #2

Good evening ladies!

How was your day?

Despite all of what the news said...today was an amazing day : hot(as hot as it can get this time of the year) and very very sunny(there was no cloud to be seen on the sky).  I was in a good mood today thanks to the weather outside.

Today I have another "close to my heart" manicure - but with a twist !  The manicure I am going to show you it's done on the girls's nails who is close to my heart.

The lady I am going to talk to you about is a friend I've made in college. We've become very close in a very short period of time...and I can say we are very good friends.

She's a lovely lady who'd give anything for you to be happy! You can trust her and you can count on her at anytime- I must say that, these days, is very hard to find someone like her.

She also has the funniest laugh you'll ever hear - she's simply adorable. I want to thank her that she's a part of my life...and I wish we'll be friends forever.

Now...about the nails - she has gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous NAILS and I am in a constant battle with her to let them grow a bit longer!

A few days ago I did her nails (because she wanted something nice before she shortened them again) and I decided to take pictures. (If you follow me on Facebook-here , you've seen her nails before)

I really love doing her nails - she's the perfect 'client'! I'd do her nails every single day!

Close to my heart #1

Do you remember the post I dedicated to my mother? HERE

Well....in the post I asked if you'd be interested in seeing a weekly post called "close to my heart" ...and since some of you said "yes" I decided to do my first post! (I will do the blog post in a random order)

Today's post is dedicated to one of my good friends Oana- Unghiute colorate happy nails!

Shockingly, yes she is close to my heart....she managed to "get under my skin" very quickly- in less than a few months.

To be honest....these days we'll be ''celebrating" one year of knowing each other. Oana's one of the ladies that helped me a lot when I started my blog , and I want to thank her for that (again) here! (multumesc din suflet)

The funny thing is ... we firstly met when I won a giveaway she did on her blog - the "irony" was that at that time we lived at less than 20 mins away.  Since that day we started talking constantly...almost on a daily basis.

She's a hard working and a honest person and also, most importantly, she's a true friend! You can count on her at anytime!

I could talk a lot more about her...but I think that what I said is enough. She knows how I feel about her and that's what matters the most.

Today's manicure was done having her in mind...and using a nail polish I recieved from her and a stamping plate she lent me.

Why did I do that? I am sure you all know Oana loves stamping- I couldn't have done something better to show my love for her.
(I wish I would have done the mani in purple...but since the 1st of March is close I wanted to show you a red/white design)

This is the "hello kitty" nail polish I recieved from Oana. I have to tell you that I love it- I've been looking for a light red like this one for a long time.
Another interesting think...is that this is a scented nailpolsih. It's the first one of this kind...and at first I found it odd...but I actually ended up liking the smell of it.

I also started to use Eveline 8in1 Nail Conditioner. I used just once...but I've heard a lot of good things about it.
I am very curious to find out how it is. (I will tell you more about it in some time)
