March's Nails Challenge- Pastel

Hello!

Today is Saturday again ...so we have another manicure for the monthly challenge : PASTEL .

I really liked the idea...until I had to choose the nail polishes for this and I realized I don't have a lot of pastel shades, and, since I don't have that many I decided to combine them all in one manicure.

Here it is :

I have to admit that doing this manicure took some time but I am really happy with the end result - what's better than a colourful mani ?
Even if I wanted to make this manicure with only one brand of nail polish I couldn't have done it. I think this is the first time ever when I use so many colours and also brands in one manicure.

My inspiration was this colourful cake. Let's see what inspired the other talented ladies :

Ce am mai purtat pe unghii in 2015 !

    Hello.

    China Glaze - Starboard

    Good evening lovelies!

How are you? I hope you had a great start of the week!

I am one day from my last exam....so I am very busy, but, also excited to finally finishing college.

Tonight I want to show you a gorgeous nail polish I received as a birthday gift from my good friend Oana!!

China Glaze Starboard - the most gorgeous green you'll ever see. I can say that this is the perfect shade for Christmas manicures.

I simply fell in love with this colour, even if I am not such a green lover (even though...I own a lot of greens)

After I swatched this polish my nails broke....so, short nails again - I will still have some long-nail manicures which I did in advance.

The shine the nail polish has...it's his own (if i can say it like that) - I didn't use any top coat.

Talking about topcoat- the nail polish lasted on my nails (without chipping at all) around 5 days, and it still looked good when I cleaned it up.
This can easily be described as a one-coater, but I like to use two coats, no matter the quality of the polish.
There is no staining with this nail polish- which is...PERFECT?! (I have a gorgeous green, from another famous brand, which I don't use because it stains the nail and the fingers). I used the nail polish with and without a basecoat and still no stains- so, it's go !

Last, but not least, the drying time is ...normal. Not quick but definitely not slow.
If you are a green lover....and you want a gorgeous colour which also has a great formula don't hesitate to buy it. It's adorable!

    Close to my heart #2

    Good evening ladies!

    How was your day?

Despite all of what the news said...today was an amazing day : hot(as hot as it can get this time of the year) and very very sunny(there was no cloud to be seen on the sky).  I was in a good mood today thanks to the weather outside.

Today I have another "close to my heart" manicure - but with a twist !  The manicure I am going to show you it's done on the girls's nails who is close to my heart.

The lady I am going to talk to you about is a friend I've made in college. We've become very close in a very short period of time...and I can say we are very good friends.

She's a lovely lady who'd give anything for you to be happy! You can trust her and you can count on her at anytime- I must say that, these days, is very hard to find someone like her.

She also has the funniest laugh you'll ever hear - she's simply adorable. I want to thank her that she's a part of my life...and I wish we'll be friends forever.

Now...about the nails - she has gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous NAILS and I am in a constant battle with her to let them grow a bit longer!

A few days ago I did her nails (because she wanted something nice before she shortened them again) and I decided to take pictures. (If you follow me on Facebook-here , you've seen her nails before)

I really love doing her nails - she's the perfect 'client'! I'd do her nails every single day!

Ps: the base colour is ChinaGlaze- Re-fresh mint!

    China Glaze- Ruby Pumps

    Buna seara.

In seara asta o sa va arat doar una din ele : China Glaze-Ruby Pumps.

In momentul in care am pozat oja...avem pe unghii 3 straturi DAR arata perfect si in 2 straturi.

    Sweet roses.

    Good night darlings.

How are you tonight? Having a good week until now?

I have to tell you that I had a very awkward day. I haven't slept all night because of my "dorm-neighbours" who had some kind of a party all night long.

I usually don't mind them partying but today I had to get up at 6:30 and having around 3h of sleep when I have to stay 8 hours at school doesn't sound nice at all.

Well...went to school...and guess what? My crazy professor kicked me out of the class after 5 minutes. ( this is the first time this happens to me...but the reason is even better- she asked us to write down what mass media is composed of : internet, television and radio, and I didn't write that down!! well F**K you too).  That's how I spent 2h alone and then another 2h with my friend on a couch because we had a break.

After that followed another 4h with the same crazy lady.(we still talked about mass media...and this time I wrote down what she said)

I honestly believed that I had a very bad day until I went to my doctor for a check up and everything turned out better than expected.

I finally recieved some good news and I very happy about them. My 5-6 months work turned out not to be for nothing - I lost around 15kg and my health state is getting better and better.

I wanted to tell you this because I am very happy about this and also proud. I think that my life is finally getting better from many points of view.

The manicure I will show you today matches my happiness even if I did yesterday when I wasn't feeling so good. (i think something pushed me to do it like this)

This is not a different or a super hard/complicated manicure...but it's simple, elegant and cute.

I wanted something more summer-ish on my nails and I choose the ChinaGlaze Re-fresh Mint as base colour and I did the roses with my fav pink from TipTop and ChinaGlaze Trazitions- Split Personality.

I finished the manicure with my ALL-TIME-FAVOURITE top coat from Farmec.

I am very curious to know what do you think about this manicure!

I want to remind of my MoyouNails Giveaway . I hope I will recieve a lot of manicures.

    Comeback-pink manicure

    HELLO!!

Ohh...ladies I've missed you so much!

I would like to start tonight's blog post with an apology for not writing as often as I used to...but I really had a lot on my hands and mind and I also did not have good internet. (to upload a photo I waited ~30mins)

Just in case you were wondering...school is going fine, full of projects and some stress too. Being the last year I am a bit sad ...but for now I am focusing on the nice parts.

I am also enjoying the dorm life...enjoying it 100% : bad and good. (cockroaches or not :)) )

I am sad to tell you that I don't have my camera with me...and as consequence I won't be showing you the pics you're used to...but some done with my cell-phone. I will try to take the pictures in natural light to get the best out of them.

As I promised...I tried to wear more pink these days...to promote the BreastCancerAwareness movement...that's why today I will show you a manicure using some pink.

In a future post I will show you some pink manicure I did for my friends. (I kind of made them wear pink :)) )

I did this manicure this morning...in a hurry but I am very happy with the outcome.

I was very excited to find out that I can perfectly stamp with ChinaGlaze Tranzitions .
As you already know...I am absolutely in love with the stamping plates from MoyouNails...I use them as often as I can.
My friends are also very happy when they get stamped manis : they act like children on Christmas opening their presents.

This is a manicure I did on my friends nails using SallyHansen-Vitamin Sea and a stamping plate from MoyouNails.

She loved the little flowers very much and wore the manicure for one week.

I will also post a photo with me wearing my most pink thing! (it looks peachy in this photo ...but I can assure you it's perfectly pink)

I will honestly try to post more often!

I wish you a great night ladies and also a good weekend. I hope you'll have good weather.

    Mix&match - culori pastelate

    Buna ziua dragele mele.

Golden Rose Holiday - numarul 72 ( am folosit-o tot in 3 straturi)
