March's Nails Challenge- Pastel

Hello! 

Today is Saturday again ...so we have another manicure for the monthly challenge : PASTEL . 

I really liked the idea...until I had to choose the nail polishes for this and I realized I don't have a lot of pastel shades, and, since I don't have that many I decided to combine them all in one manicure. 

Here it is : 

I have to admit that doing this manicure took some time but I am really happy with the end result - what's better than a colourful mani ? 

Even if I wanted to make this manicure with only one brand of nail polish I couldn't have done it. I think this is the first time ever when I use so many colours and also brands in one manicure.

Hello.

Today I will show you a manicure I did a couple of hours ago...nails I really love how they look.

I rarely feel 100% happy with a design I did, especially if it's something I never tried before...but this time I can say I am.

Ce am mai purtat pe unghii in 2015 !

Se intampla foarte rar sa nu apuc sa va arat tot ceea ce am purtat pe unghii ...dar de aceasta data am cateva manichiuri mai simple pe care vreau sa vi le arat. 

 

 Nici nu mai stiu exact cand am purtat aceasta manichiura...acum multicel timp totusi !
Am adorat oja de la OPI cand am vazut-o ..dar pe unghiile mele nu mi-a placut de nicio culoare , in schimb, cu acest model am iubit-o.

 Manichiura cu nr2 este manichiura pe care am avut-o in perioada Craciunului.
Ceva simplu, rosu cu auriu, sclipicios si texturat.

Aceasta este a doua manichiura pe care am purtat-o in acea perioada.  Bradutul mi-a placut enorm cand l-am vazut pe IG +Nails By Miri asa ca a trebuit sa incerc si eu sa il fac.

Ultima dar nu cea din urma, este o manichiura pe care poate o stiti de pe facebook. 

Manichiura pe care am purtat-o de revelion. De mult nu mi-a mai placut o manichiura atat de mult ca aceasta ...abia astept sa o incerc si pe alte culori :D 

Va doresc o saptamana frumoasa. 

Peel off nail latex from BornPrettyStore

How are you lovelies today? I have a question for you : do you ever feel like doing an ombre manicure but you're not up to cleaning the mess on your fingers?

I know that the peel off "helper" (how i like to call it) is not a new thing...but have you tried the one from BornPrettyStore? (it's on the site at the special price of 2.99$ )

I've only tried one but wasn't amazingly happy about it ....like I am not with this one either!

I am not going to say it's bad...it's just...not like the ones i've seen in tutorials.

This one , which you can find on the bornprettystore sote in a bottle of 15ml,  is very opaque (which is good cuz you see perfectly where you've put it) but it takes a bit long to dry.

It covers perfectly to be honest - as you can see in the picture.

What I saw while trying to clean up is that the part of the latex where you got polish on ...is a bit softer than the rest...and it breaks a bit...doesn't peel off as I would have wanted it to.

You can see in the picture above what I am talking about : the part where I had more nail polish got stuck on the finger ...but I was able to take it off easily :)

However, as a conclusion ...this is a good-ish peel off "helper". You can see in the next picture that there wasn't much to clean after I took off all liquid tape.

I would probably buy this one if there wouldn't be another option. :)

Bornprettystore- stamper,stamping plate and stamping nail polish review

Bornprettystore all over the place!

As you already know ... BornPrettyStore is the first company I started working with when I started my blog...and I am still doing that.

Writing on my blog for them is one of my biggest pleasures...but even better is when I open the package - I am like a kid open a present.

Today I have for you 3 products in the review : a stamper, stamping plate and a special stamping nail polish.


I will start with the stamping plate BP-L020 !- You can find it HERE. 

I've told you a million times my opinion about their stamping plates- and from all of them there was only one who was horrible (you can't even find in anymore on the site) what I wanted to highlight is that this plate is not from that category!

I could describe this plate with one word : PERFECT!

The designs are perfectly engraved, the size of the designs are good for long nails too (i reviewed the plate when I had short nails but I saw the difference between this plate and another).

On this plate you can find 14 (big) and 7(small) lace designs- these are perfect for elegant manicures. I would say this is a perfect plate for bridal designs.

BornPrettyStore stamper! Find HERE

This is one of the most gorgeous stampers I've ever used. I know calling a stamper "gorgeous" is not the best  thing , because usually when you overly "beautify' an object it means that the functions it has, don't really work - but here is not the case!

The look of the stamper complements it's functionality - this is the perfect combination between useful and fancy.

This is the most squishy stamper I ever had!!! OMG - "it's so squishy I wanna die" (related to Despicable Me)
Even if the stamper is just ~2.5cm diameter it can pick up large images and perfectly transfer them on the nail.


























Before using the stamper I had to file the surface down a bit because it was very sticky, but then it worked perfectly!
I've never been so happy about a stamper!  I will probably buy another one like this but bigger- it's pretty amazing.
There is only problem I have with it ...is that it gets stains. I was not able to properly clean it after using it -  I will try cleaning it better, but for the record the stains don't affect the quality of the stamper.

BornPrettyStore special stamping nail polish - Find HERE.

Well...this is the last product I will talk about today...and this is going to be a simple one.
I've used some special stamping nail polish since I started my blog and I have had different experience with them - good and bad!
This one is  from the good category - I have to be honest and tell you that I wasn't expecting this nail polish to work this good but it did and that's what matter.
The nail polish is not thick nor thin , it's just like a normal nail polish but it's very opaque and it also dried not fast-nor hard, so you have enough time to get it from the plate to the stamper and onto the nail.

I haven't tried it yet for homemade decals but I will and I will tell you how it is.

I will add some photos of the manicure I did for this review too - hopefully you'll like it!

Tag- Obsedata de oje

Hello !!

Ce faceti dragele mele? <3 Astazi vreau sa va arat un tag pe care l-am preluat de la minunata Ella(trebuie sa cititi si voi postarea ei, e super cute) . Ma chinui de mult sa il fac...si intr-un tarziu am reusit.

1. Ce ojă porți acum pe unghii?

Hmmm...momentan am o culoare simpla, niciun model - La sfatul unei fete dragute din grupul TPA...am zis sa mai dau o sansa ojelor de la Kallos ...si bine am facut! Este una din cele mai superbe oje pe care le-am incercat. (o sa fac si un swatch/review candva)

Este pentru prima data cand am reusit sa fotografiez o oja mov/lila in adevarata (sau cel putin foarte aproape) ei nuanta. 
Nu stiu cum sa descriu oja ...dar, pot sa spun ca are un luciu absolut superb si acopera perfect dintr-o singura aplicare. 
In poza pe care am postat-o puteti vedea oja fara top coat! 



2. Care este produsul pentru unghii fără de care nu poți să trăiești?

Sunt foarte multe produse pe care le folosesc....dar cel mai important pentru mine este lacul de la Eveline, baza 8in1. Chiar mi-a schimbat ..."viata unghiilor'' - cresc mai repede, sunt mult mai sanatoase, mai tari si mai ales albe/curate, nu s-au mai ingalbenit de foarte foarte mult timp. (indiferent de ojele pe care le-am folosit) 
Am scris de multe ori despre el si, ca de fiecare data, va spun sa il incercati!

3. Care e brandul tău favorit la oje?

Am multe brand-uri care imi plac, dar evident, exista la fiecare oje bune si oje mai putin bune. Pentru ca trebuie sa raspund o sa va spun asa : GoldenRose si Sally Hansen. Ambele brand-uri au produse extraordinar de bune ...dar fac parte din categorii de preturi diferite. 

4. Ce formă și ce lungime preferi la unghii?

Am experimentat cu foarte multe forme. Am avut o fixatie cu unghiile patrate pentru foarte mult timp...dar dupa aceea, din dorinta de a avea unghiile mai lungi am incercat balerina. 
Si am continuat cu ele rotunde ...iar de curand le-am ascutit si mi-am facut gheare!! 
Daca la forma nu pot sa spun ca am o preferata...la lungime pot sa spuna doar atat : LUNGI.
Ma descurc mult mai bine cu ele cand sunt lungi ...si am si mai mult spatiu pentru modele.
Singurul lucru care ma incomodeaza la unghiile mele cand sunt foarte lungi ...este faptul ca unghia de la degetul aratator se curbeaza destul de urat si imi este foarte greu sa ii dau forma dorita - mai ales atunci cand am unghiile patrate.
Daca stau sa ma gandesc mai bine...si asta este unu din motivele pentru care am renuntat la forma patrata.

5. Ce nuanțe predomină în colecția ta?

Acum o saptamana si ceva am facut un "inventar", am mai aruncat din ojele vechi, uscate ...si le-am numarat pe cele care au mai ramas. Colectia mea a atins un numar record de 180 de piese unice :x
Sunt foarte incantata...dar parca nici asa, aproape de 200, nu sunt destule :)) 

In ceea ce priveste culoarea dominanta, verdele si albastrul se bat pentru locul fruntas, cu toate astea ojele albastre sunt campioane! 
Le-am numarat...dar am uitat cate sunt exact - in jur de 40 in orice caz. (sunt toate nuantele, texturile...marimile :)) ) 

6. Ce tip de finish preferi?

Depinde foarte mult de tipul manichiurii - daca este o manichiura pictata cu vopsele acrylice atunci clar MATT iar daca este orice alt fel de manichiura, LUCIOS. 
Nu m-as putea desparti de preferatul meu de la Farmec : 3D gel top coat

7. Ce oje ai pe wishlist?

Nu sunt genul care sa isi faca wishlist- cumpar oje din impuls. Daca imi place o cumpar, cu toate astea, exista o oja care ma obsedeaza de foarte mult timp: You're such a Budapest de la OPI. 

8. Când îți faci de obicei unghiile: dimineața, după amiaza sau seara?

Se intampla uneori sa le fac si seara, dar de cele mai multe ori dimineata sau dupa amiaza. cel mai mult ma intereseaza sa fac pozele imediat dupa ce am terminat manichiura, ca nu cumva sa se intample ceva dupa aceea. 
Daca as avea light box, nu mi-as bate capul cu orele la care imi fac manichiura dar pentru ca am nevoie de lumina naturala, incerc sa le fac dimineata. 

9. Ce trucuri recomanzi?

Hmmm....nu cred ca exista trucuri care sa se potriveasca tuturor. (cred ca pe cele de genul "bagati mainile intr-un bol cu apa si gheata ca sa se usuce unghiile mai repede" , le stiti deja)

Eu vreau doar sa va spun atat : ca va dati unghiile cu oja, ca nu le dati, ca faceti modele complexe sau nu...aveti grija sa aveti mereu unghiile curate si ingrijite.  Mainile, precum si incaltamintea, spun foarte multe despre un om, iar negrul sub unghii nu da foarte bine. 

Daca stiti ca nu aveti timp sa va faceti unghiile, atunci stergeti oja de pe ele (nu, oja sarita de pe unghii nu se numeste manichiura) si dati un lac transparent. 

10. Ce oje regreți că le-ai achiziționat?

Nu imi place deloc sa vorbesc de rau despre brand-uri ...dar daca ceva nu imi place, prefer sa fiu sincera. 
Nu are sens sa va vorbesc despre fiecare in parte pentru ca as lungi prea mult postarea. La majoritatea nu imi place cum acopera, nici dupa 3 straturi oja nu este opaca. (Kallos, Cien, Gabrini) La oja de la Essence nu imi place deloc culoare- sincera sa fiu nu stiu de ce am cumparat-o. (cred ca am fost indusa in eroare de lumina din magazin) 
Iar cea de la Farmasi.....este un glitter negru-mov care...nu face nimic. :))

11. Neon sau pastel? Nuanțe închise sau deschise?

Pastel - inchise sau deschise. 
Nuantele neon nu imi plac deloc - pur si simplu nu pot sa le port pe unghii. O sa mai incerc cu diferite culori, modele (mai ales acum ca a venit vara) dar nu promit ca o sa vi le arat si voua.
Mi se pare ca nu arata deloc bine pe unghiile mele :))

12. Ce brand pe care nu l-ai încerca încă ți-ai dori să-l încerci?

Ultima, nu cea din urma, dar sigur cea mai grea intrebare. Imi doresc sa incerc multe brand-uri de renume : de la Zoya, la Orly si Essie dar marea mea curioazitate raman ojele de la Dance Legend. Pur si simplu ma fascineaza, mi se par superbe :x

Si...pentru ca tot vorbim despre dorinte...as vrea foarte mult sa incerc ojele pentru stampilat de la Mondo de Unas!



Cam atat pentru astazi dragelor! Sper ca v-a placut postarea mea si va invit sa o preluati si voi! Este un tag dragut, care va cere sa umblati putin prin colectie - poate asa descoperiti comori uitate!

Buna dimineata dragelor!

V-am promis de mult ca va arat si a doua oja de la Avon si ma tin de cuvant. Swatch-ul l-am facut de mult dar nu am apucat sa fac postarea.

Este o oja minunata cu o sclipire superba.

Este foarte rezistenta - am avut-o pe unghii 5 zile si a rezistat fara probleme. (fara topcoat)

Nu va mai spun nimic altceva despre ea, am laudat-o destul. Va arat fotografiile.

Asa arata oja in a 5-a zi de purtare. (scuzati cuticulele cam uscate)
