March's Nails Challenge- Pastel

Hello! 

Today is Saturday again ...so we have another manicure for the monthly challenge : PASTEL . 

I really liked the idea...until I had to choose the nail polishes for this and I realized I don't have a lot of pastel shades, and, since I don't have that many I decided to combine them all in one manicure. 

Here it is : 

I have to admit that doing this manicure took some time but I am really happy with the end result - what's better than a colourful mani ? 

Even if I wanted to make this manicure with only one brand of nail polish I couldn't have done it. I think this is the first time ever when I use so many colours and also brands in one manicure.

Nu va scriu prea multe pentru tema de astazi - sunt prea ocupata cu 'lichidarea de stoc" oferita de Kinga.
Oricat de mult ma bucur de ojutele pe care ea le da...imi pare rau ca le da dar o apreciez pentru curaj.
Chiar daca suna foarte foarte ciudat ...eu cred ca nu as putea sa ma despart de dragutele mele.

Nail Art Marathon - Palm Trees

Morning ladis.

How are you? Are you ready for another manicure done for the Marathon collaboration? Today's theme, PALM TREES, was  Oana's idea.
I really want to thank her for proposing this- I had in mind for a long time a palm tree manicure and now I had the perfect opportunity.

Talking about perfect : exactly in the time I had to do this manicure...I received the Concept collection from MoyouNails (you can find the whole collection) which has a perfect plate for what I needed (plate no.307- find it HERE!)  and also....my boyfriend, who was visiting me, decided to wear a pair of shorts...which later become my inspiration.

I decided to do palm trees on every nail. (at the end of the blog post I will show you my bf's shorts ...and I am sure the mani will make more sense then)

As you can see, plate no. 307 from MoyouNails has a lot of designs engraved. For this manicure I had to use just the palm trees , but I have to be honest and tell you that I already have a lot of ideas from the designs of this plate. Since summer is coming - I will have a perfect plate for manicures. I am especially excited by the waves!!

The designs on the plate are perfectly engraved and they get transferred from the plate->stamper->nail without any effort!!
The only thing that was a bit tricky about the palms is that I had to fill in a bit with acrylic paint the middle of the tree.

I decided to do a sponged manicure - this is another thing I wanted to do for a long time. I was afraid of "sponging" and I still am, exactly how I am afraid of ombre manicures. I find it very hard to blend-in the colours.
I am actually pretty happy with the sponging on this manicure, even though I know I could have done better.

And this was my inspiration. 

Wear yellow for Seth

You know that since I started my blog I've done a few "support" manicures - I am the most proud about the "ThinkPink" ones (Breast cancer awareness).

NTC- Inspired by someone close to you!

Hello darlings!

It's Saturday (again) and as you are already used to...We have the NailTeamChallenge.

Today we have a theme that was proposed by Andra-http://sophiesnailartdreamland.blogspot.ro/ : INSPIRED BY SOMEONE CLOSE TO YOU.

This week was a challenge to many of us - it was hard to find our inspiration. To be honest...I knew from the start who my inspiration was...but I didn't know what I was going to do.

Someone close to me : MY MOM. It's as simple as that. I couldn't choose anybody else.

I have a lot of people who are close to my heart and who deserve a manicure and a blog post - but my mom is my heart! (maybe I'll make a weekly challenge called "close to my heart" where I'll be doing a manicure for every person I truly love- what do you think? would you be interested in something like this?)

Why did I choose my mom? Well...for starters...she's not just my mom. I know that what I am going to say it's the biggest cliche ever.

My sweet mother is also my sister(I never had) and also MY BEST-FRIEND in this world. She is my everything. I wish everybody could have a mom like mine.

Don't think that things between us is always PINK....OMG, not even close. She wasn't the kind of mother who kept me on a glass pedestal, on the contrary. She showed me how to do things around the house, she taught me how to solve my problems...she never let me slip on the wrong path.
Many of you could call her a very strict parent- yes, she was, but that only did good!

We also argue a lot because we're both stubborn but I know she's there if I need her. We cannot stay one day not talking to each other...and we talk more than 2 times a day on the phone. (more than 10 mins each time)

I cannot do anything else but thank her for what she was and did and also for what she is doing now!

I don't know what I'd do without her...I don't think I ever told her face-to-face...but I LOVE HER from the bottom of my heart.

NOW- NAILS!! I will show you the manicure I did and then I will explain what  I did.

Well...let me tell you a short story. One year ago...when I started my blog...the first manciure I posted was with my mom's nails ...and her fav  manicure. You can see it HERE.

I decided to do the "river stone mani' but in my mom's fav colors: yellow and orange. I couldn't choose another person for this manicure.

She always supported me with my passion even though many said I was crazy and that I am addicted and spending a lot of money on "useless stuff". (just so you know..I've "eliminated' them from my life- I don't need that kind of negativity in my life :)) )

I am very happy with the outcome. I hope you'll like it too!

NailTeamChallenge : 1. Inspired by...

Buna seara/dimineata dragele mele!

Nici nu s-a incheiat bine colaborarea "toamna-iarna" (haha...e o colectie de manichiuri nu de haine) ca deja am si inceput o noua colaborare.
Eu sunt in grupul "The Polish Addict" de pe facebook...de aproape un an...si pana acum am avut destule colaborari. Cu toate aceastea...cred ca cea care incepe astazi este cea mai ''personala", cea mai apropiata de sufletul nostru daca pot sa spun asa.

De ce? Ei bine...in aceasta colaborare, exista 18 teme (o sa le vedeti intr-un colaj la finalul postarii), teme propuse de fiecare dintre noi.
Dupa cate am observat...majoritatea am propus tema...tehnica/stilul care ne place cel mai mult. (eu am propus french, AndraKat a propus MULT verde iar Madalina watermarble - nu va spun mai mult, vedeti la sfarsit)
Pentru aceasta colaborare, draga mea Andrea a facut un colaj, foarte foarte dragut, care cuprinde atat temele propuse cat si autorii lor.


Bun...ca sa nu lungesc foarte mult postarea(care oricum o sa fie lunga) incep prin a va spune cine a propus minunata tema de azi : mult iubita si indragita mea Oana. Ce a propus ea?
Ei bine...dupa cum se vede si in titlu, tema ei se numeste "Inspired by..." (a existat si o continuare : book, movie) daaar...eu am vrut din suflet sa fac o anumita manichiura...asa ca am largit putin orizonturile.

Acestea fiind spuse...mi-am permis sa interpretez tema pe placul meu si am numit-o " Inspired by your favourite sport team's logo". Da da...probabil ca era mai simplu sa fac ceva dupa un film sau o carte...dar nu am vrut.

Poate ca nu toate stiti ca mie-mi plac sporturile mult, foarte mult. (ma uit la handbal, volei, fotbal..etc) Ce cu siguranta nu stiti...este ca as da 10meciuri de fotbal ca sa vad unul de hochei jucam de echipa brasoveana CORONA WOLVES BRASOV.

Exista foarte multe motive pentru care imi plac...(voi enumera cateva mai jos) si de aceea am ales sa fac o manichiura cu logo-ul lupilor.

Ei..cum vi se pare, asa la prima vedere? Mie-mi place la nebunie stema lor, imnul lor...numele lor.

Ca sa revin la motivele pentru care imi place acest sport: in primul rand timpul de joc EFECTIV este 60min(in momentul in care arbitrul a fluierat- cronometrul s-a oprit. De aceea, cu pauze...de multe ori un meci poate dura si 2 ore), in al doilea rand...jucatorii sunt cu adevarat sportivi (nu am nicio problema cu fotbalistii...dar ei la un cot in gura se tavalesc pe jos 5minute- hocheistii in schimb NU, au primit un cot in gura, dau si ei unul inapoi :)) si apoi continua) si in al treilea rand, sunt cu adevarat devotati echipei, antrenorului si noua, spectatorilor. (Astea ar fi pe scurt cateva din motivele pentru care imi place hochei-ul. O sa mai mentionez asa repede...si faptul ca majoritatea arata foarte bine)

Bun...daca sunteti curioase sa vedeti ce imi place mie..puteti urmari astazi (10.01.2015) un meci al lupilor, sustinut acasa impotriva celor de la Miskolci de la ora 19:45. 

Revenind la treburile noastre...o sa va arat manichiura acum.

Am decis sa fac lupul pe inelar(si m-am straduit foarte mult sa il fac cat se poate de detaliat) , un tricou pe mijlociu si in rest un color block in culorile echipei.

"Tricoul" de pe degetul meu..este numarul 33, Patrik Polc, portarul echipei Brasovene. De ce l-am ales pe el?
In primul rand pentru ca este un portar exceptional cu niste reflexe incredibile si in al doilea rand, de dragul manichiurii. Daca alegeam un alt jucator (ex.Hietamachi/ Pysarenko) nu aveam loc pe unghie. (si asa m-am chinuit putin...si tot stramb a iesit).

Sper din suflet ca nu v-am plictisit cu postarea mea kilometrica.

Cred ca este una din postarile lungi pe care le-am scris cu draga inima si cu multa stima, respect si iubire in suflet, pentru sport, pentru echipa dar si pentru minunatul meu oras, Brasov.

(si da, daca sunteti curioase...am si un jucator preferat..dar prefer sa-l pastrez doar pentru mine)

Eu o sa raman un fan al lor si o sa ma duc cu mare drag la toate meciurile la care o sa pot sa ajung. Din pacate urmatoarele meciuri le pierd...dar poate am noroc in februarie cand voi fi in vacanta.

Colaborare 1 Decembrie

 LA MULTI ANI  ROMANIA!

 Buna dimineata dragilor!

 Vreau sa va spun o multime de lucruri si nu stiu cu care sa incep.

Cred ca ar fi bine sa va spun prima data despre colaborare. Va mai aduceti aminte colaborarea de toamna(?), pe care am facut-o cu multe alte fete din blogosfera? Ei bine, astazi, in cinstea Romaniei si a zile nationale, v-am pregatit o noua colaborare.
Am cazut de acord sa facem manichiuri, outfit-uri si make-up in culorile drapelului.  Pe fetele care au participat la aceasta colaborare o sa le vedeti la sfarsitul postarii, ca de obicei.
Nu trebuie sa va mai spun ce am pregatit eu, asa-i ? In schimb...pot sa va spun ca am pregatit manichiura acum 3 saptamani si un pic.
Cam atat despre colaborare, o sa trec la alte povestioare.

Initial, am vrut sa fac postarea aseara, sa o programez si gata....dar am fost obosita si am amanat-o pentru aceasta dimineata.
Ma bucur foarte mult pentru ca am luat aceasta decizie- astazi am o stare mult mai buna.
Cu toate ca nu am dormit deloc bine (mi-a fost foarte cald si am visat foarte mult) astazi de dimineata cand m-am uitat pe geam m-am "incarcat" cu energie instantaneu : NINGE.
Nu cred ca v-am spus pana acum cat de mult imi place mie iarna : o adoooor. Simplul fapt ca vad cum ninge imi umple sufletul de bucurie.
Cred ca aceasta iubire  pe care o am fata de acest anotimp se datoreaza faptului ca cele mai frumoase amintiri alaturi de tatal meu sunt iarna.
Imi place foarte mult sa vad copiii cum se joaca cu zapada, ba chiar imi place si mie sa ma joc in zapada. Stiu ca nu mai sunt copil si ca multor persoane li se pare imatur dar pe mine nu ma intereseaza. Daca pot sa arunc in cineva cu un bulgare de zapada o sa o fac fara sa ezit!

Am deviat putin de la subiectul principal, 1 Decembrie dar continui acum.
Nu pot sa spun ca sunt un mare patriot dar pot sa spun ca imi respect si iubesc tara, si ca incerc de fiecare data, indiferent unde sunt, sa o fac sa arate bine. Incerc sa arat lumii ca Romania nu inseamna doar hotie, mizerie si tigani.
De cand am inceput sa scriu pe blog am cunoscut un numar mare de persoane din toata lumea. Cu 3 dintre acestea m-am imprietenit si vorbesc zilnic. Domnisoarele sunt din : Croatia, Anglia si America. Va spun foarte sincer ca dupa o perioada buna de vorbit cu ele...mi-au spus ca nu s-ar fi asteptat nicio secunda ca eu sa fiu romanca, tocmai pentru ca aveau o alta impresie despre noi.
Pe de o parte mi-a parut rau sa aud asta...dar pe de alta mi-a parut bine, pentru ca inseamna ca se poate. Ce sa se poata? Sa aratam lumii intregi ca suntem altfel.
Nu vreau sa mai continui acest subiect...vreau sa mai spun doar atat : sunt mandra ca sunt romanca si nu o sa ascund acelt lucru niciodata.

Ca sa trecem la lucruri mai "serioase'', sa va arat manichiura pe care am realizat-o :

 

Am folosit tehnica decals ca sa fac inelarul- pe aceasta cale trebuie sa ii multumesc mult dragei Kinga, care mi-a explicat de N ori cum sa le fac.
Am vrut sa creez impresia de model traditional romanesc, ca cele gasite pe ii. Sper ca am reusit.

Placuta folosita este de la BPS.


Am folosit mai multe brand-uri pentru manichiura dar nu am uitat de faimosul si romanescul Farmec.

In materie de unghiute cam atat am sa va arat dar mai am alte 2 poze.

1. Asta este "privelistea" cu care m-am trezit eu astazi. Nu este cine stie ce zapada...dar este de ajuns ca sa ma faca sa zambesc si sa simt ca intr-adevar a venit iarna.

2. Colega mea de camera este iubitoare a batonului ROM.(se vede, nu-i asa?) Impreuna va uram "la multi ani", voua romanilor de pretutindeni.

O zi cat mai frumoasa si cu cat mai multa zapada va doresc!
