Bornprettystore- stamper, stamping plate and stamping nail polish review

Bornprettystore all over the place!

As you already know ... BornPrettyStore is the first company I started working with when I started my blog...and I am still doing that.

Writing on my blog for them is one of my biggest pleasures...but even better is when I open the package - I am like a kid open a present.

Today I have for you 3 products in the review : a stamper, stamping plate and a special stamping nail polish.

I will start with the stamping plate BP-L020 !- You can find it HERE

I've told you a million times my opinion about their stamping plates- and from all of them there was only one who was horrible (you can't even find in anymore on the site) what I wanted to highlight is that this plate is not from that category!

I could describe this plate with one word : PERFECT!

The designs are perfectly engraved, the size of the designs are good for long nails too (i reviewed the plate when I had short nails but I saw the difference between this plate and another).

On this plate you can find 14 (big) and 7(small) lace designs- these are perfect for elegant manicures. I would say this is a perfect plate for bridal designs.

This is a close up of the design I used for today's manicure.
BornPrettyStore stamper! Find HERE

This is one of the most gorgeous stampers I've ever used. I know calling a stamper "gorgeous" is not the best  thing , because usually when you overly "beautify' an object it means that the functions it has, don't really work - but here is not the case!

The look of the stamper complements it's functionality - this is the perfect combination between useful and fancy.

This is the most squishy stamper I ever had!!! OMG - "it's so squishy I wanna die" (related to Despicable Me)
Even if the stamper is just ~2.5cm diameter it can pick up large images and perfectly transfer them on the nail.

Before using the stamper I had to file the surface down a bit because it was very sticky, but then it worked perfectly!
I've never been so happy about a stamper!  I will probably buy another one like this but bigger- it's pretty amazing.
There is only problem I have with it ...is that it gets stains. I was not able to properly clean it after using it -  I will try cleaning it better, but for the record the stains don't affect the quality of the stamper.

BornPrettyStore special stamping nail polish - Find HERE.

Well...this is the last product I will talk about today...and this is going to be a simple one.
I've used some special stamping nail polish since I started my blog and I have had different experience with them - good and bad!
This one is  from the good category - I have to be honest and tell you that I wasn't expecting this nail polish to work this good but it did and that's what matter.
The nail polish is not thick nor thin , it's just like a normal nail polish but it's very opaque and it also dried not fast-nor hard, so you have enough time to get it from the plate to the stamper and onto the nail.

I haven't tried it yet for homemade decals but I will and I will tell you how it is.

I will add some photos of the manicure I did for this review too - hopefully you'll like it!

Rimmel London - Rita Ora Super Shine swatch

Hello darlings.

Today I want to show you 4 swatches for some beautiful Rimmel London Rita Ora Super Shine.

I showed you Peachella from the same collection HERE....today I will show you more.

Today I will show you these 4 colours - but first lets see the whole collection.

The Rita Ora Super Shine collection has 12 bottles, gorgeous colours!
Each bottle has 8ml.
What they say about this collection :
· 3 IN 1 TECHNOLOGY FOR UP TO 10 DAYS WEAR
· HIGH IMPACT COLOUR FOR ULTRA-SHINY FINISH
· ONE STROKE, PRECISE APPLICATION
What I say about this collection :
- I wore the nail polish 4 days on my nails before it started to look bad. I have to say that I didn't use any topcoat, just my usual basecoat.
- As you'll see in the pictures, they are very very shinny
-The brush is perfect for a one-stroke apply, but they all need 2 coats for the perfect look.
- Bonus : I love the little flowers on the handles- they are very girly and cute!

GOWILD-ER-NESS

Artificial light.

This picture reflects the true colour of the nails polish and the shine it has!

GLASTON-BERRY

I fell in love with this colour because it's exactly the same shade as one of my first nail polishes I ever bought. The polish I am talking about is long gone...and unfortunately I haven't been able to replace it. Now, this one is my new baby. (it won't replace that one though)
This nail polish looks amazing in one coat - but I used 2 as always.

BESTIVAL BLUE

PORT-ALOO-BLUE

This is a great teal...the only thing I have to tell you about it ...is that it stains a bit when cleaning it up. I always use a basecoat- so you should too.

I love every single one of them!! They are gorgeous colours with a beautiful shine.

How about some glitter?

Hello hello!

How have you been? I am back to Bucharest...ready to start my exams.

Before the holidays I had done a lot of manicures perfect for Christmas/New Year, which some of them you've seen...but some not.
Well...these(because you'll see 2 manicures) are from the second category- not seen.

These two manicures are done both on my mom's nails and on mine...and they are done using my beloved Avon Stardust. You can see the review HERE!!!

I will stop talking now and I will show you some pics.

These are my nails (I guess you should know that since you read my blog) and I used Chrystalized Pink and Teal Glitter for the design.
This is a free hand design- at first I thought it would be easier to do them is I use striping tape but it wasn't ...so I did them by hand.
I can make a tutorial for you if you like! (tell me in the comments)

For the second mani I used Chrystalized Pink and Polished Plum.
For my mother's design I used striping tape on the thumb and middle finger and free hand for the ring.(as you can see in the picture above it isn't perfect- this was the first I did, on my nails it was the 3rd time I did the design)
I did another manicure like this...on my mom's friend's nails...but I FORGOT to take pictures. (i guess this happens sometimes)

What do you think about the designs? Do you like them or are they too glitterish?

Avon stardust swatch

Hello hello!!

Today I am very happy to show you 3 nail polishes I bought from Avon. I have to mention that these are my first Avon nail polishes. (I wasn't a big fan but when I saw these beauties I had to have them)

First of all I have to tell you that they are very glitter-ish textured polishes and secondly, that they have a very good price. (I bought them for 10lei/ 2.85$ a piece)

I absolutely love the names BUT  I would have changed "crystalized pink" to "crystalized champagne", because I think it's a better fit.
Do I even need to talk about the bottles?
I LOVE LOVE them. (yes, I know, they are a lot like the ones Azature has, if not exactly the same)
I think that the bottles do a lot of "work" in the process of falling in love with them.

I will start showing you the pictures I took with each one of them...and at the end, I will tell you my opinion.

Crystalized pink :

Teal glitter:

Polished plum:

Well...these being shown, let me tell you some things about the polishes.
1.they are very easy to apply
2.they have a perfect cover in 2 coats
3. quick drying
4. I kept on my nails one of them for 3 days and they looked perfect
5. they shimmer like crazy
and last but not least (my fav part about them):
6. you can clean them very easy...there's no need to use the aluminium-foil technique. I was shocked to see that. This is a big plus for me.

As I said before, I am not a big fan of Avon nail polishes...or better said...I wasn't, because now I am in love with them.
I think I will try some from other collections too.
I recommend them to anybody who loves textured polishes or to those of you who wish to have a special mani but don't have the time to do some elaborate design.
