Close to my heart #4

Morning darlings!

Another "close to my heart" blog post...today I am going to write about someone who I am very attached to, someone who I never thought will become so important to me.

The mani I am going to show you...it's done in November last year I think, but I wasn't able to post it when I planned, so I kept it there for the right moment!

And now is the right moment. The mani I did...is something I usually do for mani swapping : I take a manicure done by another blogger and try to do my version of the manicure.

Today's blog post is dedicated to my good good friend : Ithfifi.

When I think about Ithi, I think about 2 words : friendship and trust.
As I said many times before...I am amazed by how easily you can get attached to a person without even meeting once. This is what happened to us.

We got to know each other via our passion : nails. (to be honest I don't really remember how I found her blog, or how she found mine...not even how we started talking)
The most important thing is ...that we started talking around one year ago...and since then...not one day has passed without us two talking. Maybe we weren't able to chit chat 3 hours ...but we at least "checked-in" and asked how our days went.

I am used to talking to her on a regular basis....and I find it really hard when we're not able to. I cannot say in words how much she means to me, and what a kind, lovely and carrying person she is.
She was there for me everyday, at any time no matter if I was sad or happy.
We haven't met yet...but we made a pact : if we aren't able to visit each other until one of us gets married, WE WILL MAKE IT TO THE WEDDING, and this is a promise!

When you get along so well with someone and when you care that much about them, the only think you can want more is to be close to them.
I cannot tell you how excited I'll be when I'll be able to talk to her face to face. The thought alone makes me smile.

I wish everyone had a true friend as I have...and I am saying this, even if she is miles away, in the Netherlands.

I dedicate this manicure to her and to our friendship, which I wish to last forever.

Now I will show you the mani that inspired me. (hers was a million times better than mine)

I appreciate her as a blogger, a very talented one actually, but I appreciate her more as the true friend she is.

Buna dimineata dragelor!

V-am aratat acum cateva zile swatch-ul la Flormar WetLook 01 si nu puteam sa las minunata culoare fara un model.

Am facut ceva simplu : bulinute colorate. Imi plac foarte mult manichiurile de genul...si mi-ar fi placut sa fie bulinele mai mari, dar cum sunt uituca, am uitat punctatorul mare acasa. Fa buline mari daca ai cu ce :))

Sper totusi sa va placa manichiura si cu buline mici.

Poza realizata in lumina naturala cu blit.

Am decis sa folosesc doar oje de la Flormar pentru aceasta manichiura. De la stanga la dreapta : WetLook 01, Steel gray 417,
Bluish Green 424, Super Shine  Orange flower 004, Super Shine Cotton Candy 029.

DAY 23: Inspired by a movie

I am happy to say that this it post no.100 .  I know that mani of you make 100 posts in a month...but for me this is a big thing!

I really liked this theme...because you have 1.000.000 choices!! For this...I decided to do Tim Burton's The nightmare before Christmas.

Tim Burton is one of my fav directors...especially because he usually works with Johny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter.

I honestly hope you like my manicure. I had a lot of fun doing it :)

MoyouNails explosion

Hello darlings!

How is your week going? One more day and we're going to enjoy another weekend ( great one hopefully)

Do you remember that a couple of months ago I recieved a great package from MOYOUNAILS ? (a lot of stamping plates and also 3 special nail polishes for stamping).

Unfortunatelly, because of my exams I wasn't able to do a blog post then. I really wanted to try them out but the time just wasn't right.

I decided to do more manis, and show them to you in one post.

After using the stamping plates the second time, my opinion is the same. I absolutely love them...There was just one image I couldn't transfer on the stamper but I will try again. You can read my first article HERE

Now I should tell you about thenail polish.
Untill now...I only used the nail polish I had in my collection(no special nailpolish for stamping) so I guess you can imagine I like these a lot.
The designs transfers perfectly on the stamper and also on the nail.
The only thing I noticed is that you have to work really fast because the polish dries very fast.


I recieved 3 colours : blue, black and gold. (you'll see all of them in the pictures below).

This is a gorgeous plate with a lot of cute hearts and bows. This is perfect for a girly manicure.

The "comic manicure" 

I think this is my favourite color combo. (the blue is SallyHansen- Vitamin sea)
I would wear this mani everyday.


I didn't name this mani...si feel free to call is as you want :)

This was a mani I did on my mom's nails ...but she wasn't very happy about the color combo...so I had to remake the manicure.
I think this is a perfect mani for the summer.
The "remade" mani :

I've decided to keep the green and stamp it with black. (I'll have to say she was a lot happier with this one)
For the accent nails I used a stamping plate from BornPrettyStore and the others are stamped using a stamping plate from MoyouNails. (I absolutely love these french tips)

I choose to post this last, because I think this is the best mani I did using a MoyouNails stamping plate.
I also used the gold nail polish they've sent me.
What do you think?
I think it's a perfect colour for doing an animal print/jaguar mani.

These being said....here are the manis I did using the MoyouNails plates.
I am officially IN LOVE with these plates, and I am going to use them on a regular basis.

Good evening  sweet ladies!

How was your week-end??

Mine was really full- a lot of shopping, house work and a not-so-long trip back to Bucharest. After 3 weeks of holiday I spent back home, I finally arrived back to my other home.
My next few weeks will be even more full, since the exams are starting. Talking about my exams....I really hope I will be able to post as often as I usually do. ( or at least every saturday- for the new challenge, the girls and I have started.)


Now...about this post: since I don't see my mom on a regular basis ( more like...4 times/year), when I have the chance to do her nails I try to make something special; I tried to do so this time too.
Thinking that I'll see her in June or July- maybe- I decided to do her nails with Essence-Gel Nails at Home. YES I KNOW THEY WON'T LAST THAT LONG...but they will at least 7-8 days.
 I really like to see her happy and this is a little pleasure that does that.

I did the gel nails as usual...(you can see a tutorial HERE ) and then I did the design...After I did the purple roses she fell in love with them so she asked me to do them. I did my best to please her.

As a little conclusion, I will say that I only have one more mani done on her nails that I will post as soon as I can.
From now on...you'll enjoy just my nails!
