February's Nails Challenge- Gradient

Good morning darlings!

Saturday again - time flies . This is the last manicure for this month in the monthly challenge.

I don't like doing gradient/ombre nails ...i find it pretty hard but I love seeing these designs , there are some amazing girls who do them perfectly.

I tried doing my best - hope you like it.

Aceste water decals le-am primit de la Oana acum mult timp dar le-am folosit abia acum. Dupa parerea mea se potrivesc perfect...asa ca, le-am pastrat bine la naftalina.

January's Nails Challenge - Inspired by favorite drink

Buna seara!

A mai trecut o saptamana...si am revenit cu o noua manichiura.

Trebuie sa recunosc ca mi-a dat bataie de cap aceasta tema. Bautura mea preferata este "mojito' - oricat am incercat sa reproduc bautara sau sa creez ceva asemanator...nu am reusit. Prin urmare, am apelat la atotputernicul google si am cautat 'cocktail-uri colorate" , si asa mi-am gasit inspiratia : Pina-Colada tini .

Nu o sa va plictisesc cu detalii despre aceasta bautura si o sa va arat ce am facut. Nu sunt multumita de manichiura, am refacut-o de 2 ori ...dar asta este si asta va arat !

 Ca sa fac aceasta manichiura am decis sa folosesc culori acrilice si o pensula (cea mai mare greseala)

Din cauza ca nu sunt o mare adepta a ombre-ului nu prea ma pricep sa le fac - nici cu buretele si nici cu pensula dupa cate am aflat.

M-am chinuit enorm sa amestec culorile si tot nu mi-a iesit perfect. De fiecare data cand fac o manichiura de acest gen imi aduc aminte de ce nu imi place sa fac ombre.

Mi-a luat cam o ora sa fac 5 unghii (evident ca nu am facut modelul la ambele maine)
Dupa ce am facut baza am aruncat repede o ciresica , am facut poze si le-am sters.

Sper totusi sa va placa :)

Buna dimineata dragelor !

Ce faceti in aceasta dimineata? Eu tocmai am ajuns acasa de la munca si m-am gandit sa fac o postare pe blog : scurt si la obiect.

Am pregatit o manichiura simpluta astazi, un tip de manichiura pe care mi-am dorit de mult sa o incerc - ombre stampilat.

Am ales sa fac un ombre cu alb-bej-maro si am stampilat cu negru.

Nail Art Marathon - Palm Trees

Morning ladis.

How are you? Are you ready for another manicure done for the Marathon collaboration? Today's theme, PALM TREES, was  Oana's idea.
I really want to thank her for proposing this- I had in mind for a long time a palm tree manicure and now I had the perfect opportunity.

Talking about perfect : exactly in the time I had to do this manicure...I received the Concept collection from MoyouNails (you can find the whole collection) which has a perfect plate for what I needed (plate no.307- find it HERE!)  and also....my boyfriend, who was visiting me, decided to wear a pair of shorts...which later become my inspiration.

I decided to do palm trees on every nail. (at the end of the blog post I will show you my bf's shorts ...and I am sure the mani will make more sense then)

As you can see, plate no. 307 from MoyouNails has a lot of designs engraved. For this manicure I had to use just the palm trees , but I have to be honest and tell you that I already have a lot of ideas from the designs of this plate. Since summer is coming - I will have a perfect plate for manicures. I am especially excited by the waves!!

The designs on the plate are perfectly engraved and they get transferred from the plate->stamper->nail without any effort!!
The only thing that was a bit tricky about the palms is that I had to fill in a bit with acrylic paint the middle of the tree.

I decided to do a sponged manicure - this is another thing I wanted to do for a long time. I was afraid of "sponging" and I still am, exactly how I am afraid of ombre manicures. I find it very hard to blend-in the colours.
I am actually pretty happy with the sponging on this manicure, even though I know I could have done better.

And this was my inspiration.

Morning lovelies!

How are you today? I am currently traveling back to Bucharest, because I have some "unfinished business", to take my last exam and finish college!

This is the main reason I haven't been posting as much as I did in May - to be honest, the nails you saw this month were done in May and the blog posts were scheduled.

However, after I finish with the exam, I will have some more time for my blog- I miss painting really much. I cannot wait to do some acrylic-based nails. (I already have some ideas)

Today I want to show you a stamping plate I bought from BornPrettyStore some time ago.

I bought the plate especially for the first design (the tribal one) ...but I ended up using the last one many many times.

The manicure I did ...was meant for a theme in the "Marathon challenge''(leadlight) but when I saw the way it looks...I decided to let it like that and I even had it on my nails for a few days.

For this manicure I did a black base and then simply sponged on some white on the tip of the nail.

The design transferred from the plate on the stamper and on the nail very easy.  I am always very honest in my reviews, so I will also be this time : the quality of their stamping plates has improved a lot. The first plate I have from them was LOW quality - whilst this plate can be compared with Konad ones.

Buna seara fete dragi!

A venit timpul pentru penultima tema din colaborarea "Nail Team Challenge" . Ca dupa dupa fiecare colaborare, imi pare rau ca s-a incheiat...dar nu ma agit prea mult pentru ca urmeaza o alta.
Nu va spun foarte multe...ci doar ca este o colaborare foarte interesanta, cu multe teme/tehnici noi (pentru mine). Va fi o adevarata provocare.

Tema de astazi : Studs este propusa de draguta Alina. Sincera sa fiu...ma bucur mult ca a propus aceasta tema. De ce? Nu am mai folosit strasuri de foarte mult timp...si chiar a fost o oportunitate buna.

Trebuie sa va spun si ca mi-am trimis multe dintre accesoriile pentru unghii acasa (daca nu stiati, momentan stau la camin) si cand sa fac manichiura....strasuri? Ce strasuri? :))  Ca de fiecare data...m-a salvat prietena mea Oana - care mi-a adus o punguta cu cateva (mai multe) strasuri. Nu stiu ce m-as face daca n-ar fi ea pe pozitii de fiecare data sa ma scoata la mal. Multumesc din nou :*

Despre manichiura...ce sa va zic? In mintea mea...era cu totul altceva dar...(cum rar, foarte rar ) mi se intampla, la final m-am indragostit de ea. Ba chiar, am tinut-o o saptamana pe unghii....si greu m-am indurat sa o sterg.

Eu nu sunt adepta unghiilor sclipicioase la extrem sau pline de studs...dar astea mi-au placut la nebunie. A fost prima data cand m-au intrebat foarte multe persoane (cunoscute si necunoscute) unde mi-am pus unghiile si cat m-a costat. Cei care ma cunosc au inteles repede cum sta treaba...si m-au felicitat, o tanti in schimb, mi-a spus ca o mint si ca nu vreau sa ii spun si ei ca sa nu aiba unghii ca ale mele.

Sper sa va placa si voua manichiura la fel de mult cum imi place mie.

NTC- Degrade

Hello.

I cannot believe another week has passed already !

Here we are again with our NailTeamChallenge and our 13th theme : degrade. This was proposed by Alina .

This is a technique I reallly really like but I am not very good at doing it. TO be honest, I did a lot of colour combinations and I cleaned up a lot of nails before I was happy (just a figure of speech) with something. This is one of the main reasons my manicure is pink. (the two colours I used blended in the best)

This is a simple manicure, nothing fancy: some dotticure and some stamping.
