Saturday's Theme- 2. Pantone Colours

Hello hello !

I will begin today's post by saying I can't believe I am doing this....I haven't posted anything in more than half an year (shame on me) and probably wouldn't have if it weren't for my dearest friend Oana who practically pushed me to do it.

A couple of days ago I posted on Instagram the nail polish I will use for my next manicure...the coincidence was that the TPA group  had planned a "green" theme for today's post, so, here I am with the green manicure.

As you may already know, this year's colour is green - GREENERY- as set by Pantone every year.

Before showing you my manicure, I need to mention that fate played a hard game today and made me choose the same nail polish as another great blogger, Andra - see how she wore the same colour Here (the matte version)


I love Pantone's choice for this year's colour(s) - i think it's a great tribute to nature.

To be honest, green is not my colour when it comes to nails or clothes but I love nature so that's enough reason to have it on.

For today's manicure I used "Waikiki" by Barry M.

I used 3 coats for complete coverage, coats that have dried very quickly (yay) and I topped that with a glossy top coat even if the nail polish is matte.

February's Nails Challenge-Red

Hello.

Iata ca, am ajuns deja in cea de a doua luna din an ...si continuam colaborarea. Luna februarie se anunta cu inimioare, rozuri si alte nebunii , care pe mine, sincer, nu prea ma pasioneaza.
Nu prea am oje roz, nu imi plac dulcegariile astea "de cuplu'' care au loc doar o data pe an si nici nu ma incanta nebunia din magazine.

Cu toate astea, ca sa nu fiu un hater adevarat o sa particip la tema de saptamana viitoare (V'day nails) cu o manichiura rozalie :D

Lasand asta deoparte (nu pentru ca am terminat de zis ci pentru ca o sa zic si saptamana viitoare) sa trecem la tema de astazi : RED.

DA! Rosul, rosul este sexy, rosul este elegant, rosul..DA!

Pentru aceasta tema am facut o manichiura simpla, dar care mi-a placut enorm. Sper sa va placa si voua :*

Ce faceti astazi ?

O sa fiu scurta astazi, vreau doar sa va arat o manichiura pregatita pentru Craciun, in colaborare cu Golden Rose .
Nu mai trebuie sa va zic ca sunt indragostita de produsele lor ...si ca am dezvoltat o mica obsesie pentru ele :))

Vreau sa va urez si un week-end placut ! Astazi plec acasa pentru 2 zile - hihi. (daca nu mergem de craciun mergem inainte, dar tot mergem)

Gata vorbaria : manichiura mea sclipicioasa!

Nu-i asa ca v-ati obisnuit cu colaborarile tematice? Am avut tot felul de colaborari : toamna, 1 Decemebrie, Craciun, etc.

De aceasta data, ne-am adunat cateva fete pentru o colaborare "de vara" , calduroasa.  Initial nu am crezut ca o sa am timp sa particip ...dar cum draga mea Oana stie foarte bine sa ma convinga sa fac una alta...mi-am gasit timp si pentru aceasta colaborare.

Am pregatit o manichiura simpla, stampilata.

Toate pozele sunt facute in lumina naturala.

NTC - Inspired by a pattern/outfit

Hello Saturday!

It's Saturday again and I feel like just a day has passed since last week. A lot of things have happened this week, good and bad, but I am happy to have had the time to make and post a manicure for the collab.

Today's theme was proposed by a very very talented lady whom I truly appreciate and respect from the bottom of my heart : Andrea .

I know that this type of manicure, inspired by an outfit, is one of her favs...so I wanted to do my best.

The manicure I did was inspired by Thornton Bregazzi's 2013 "Preen" collection.

I spent around 2 hours doing this manicure- but in the end I think it was worth it. I like it...but I hope Andrea likes it.

Hello lovelies!

Today I want to show a type of manicure I've been wanting to do for a long time. Why did I do it now?
I was scrolling down on Instagram on +Nailstorming's (this is the Google+ account) profile and I saw a beautiful design and then told myself "I have to do this" .

She did the design with black but I decided to do it with white (left hand) and red (right hand) - I don't usually do 2 different colours on my hands...but I liked it very much like this.

I am happy that my nails are finally starting to get to the size I want - this has to do with a new base/treatment I've been using lately. (Eveline 8in1)
I will tell you more about it in a future blog post (after longer use)

NTC- Negative space nails

It's that time of the week again : nail team challenge.
Today's challenge : negative space (something I really started to enjoy doing)

Today I will show you 2 different manicures - the one I firstly did for the challenge the one I did after that because I didn't like the first :)) (I won't make a separate blog post with mani...so I didn't want it to go to waste)

I don't know why I didn't like this manicure (black) but I am a lot happier with the other one. (purple ombre)

1st negative space

Good evening!

How are you tonight...? I can guess that many of you ..sad because of the weather.

I am really sad too...because I wasn't expecting the snow this early, fortunately I will "enjoy" the snow tomorrow because I am back home. (here...instead of snow we had a very low temperature)

Even if you are used to see the "alphabet challenge" manicure this time of the week....I am ashamed to tell you that I didn't do it YET. I promised myself that I will do every one of them...so I will. (I have my idea...i just didn't have the time to execute it)

Instead of that manicure...I will show you another manicure I did last week.

It's the first time I did "negative space" and I must say I am very happy with the result.

Have you ever tried this technique before? Did you like it?

I will also show you a pic I took today : while everybody was crying because it was snowing in October I was smiling because I was enjoying the sun!
