February's Nails Challenge- Gradient

Good morning darlings!

Saturday again - time flies . This is the last manicure for this month in the monthly challenge.

I don't like doing gradient/ombre nails ...i find it pretty hard but I love seeing these designs , there are some amazing girls who do them perfectly.

I tried doing my best - hope you like it.

TipTop- Melting Marshmallow

Aceste water decals le-am primit de la Oana acum mult timp dar le-am folosit abia acum. Dupa parerea mea se potrivesc perfect...asa ca, le-am pastrat bine la naftalina.

January's Nails Challenge - Pantone Colors

Neata neata!

This is a nail polish without number...so I don't know what it is !

Bornprettystore stamping polish

Inspiratia mea :

Talking about BornPrettyStore ...I need to tell you a few words about the stamping polish !

I've tried a black one too, review - HERE.

My opinion about the nail polish is the same as the one I had about the black one . They are pretty good, very opaque ... but, after the first time I used the black one I wasn't able to use it again. It simply dried up instantly.

I hope this won't happen with the white one too.

I will let you know the next time I will use it. I will also have a review for some peel off solution and a nail art brush - stay close!

Va las mai jos si lista cu fetele care participa la colaborare aceasta saptamana :

BornPrettyStore waterdecals review

Morning ladies!

If yesterday I had a long post for you, reviewing 3 products, today I have a shorter one : some water decals I got from BornPrettyStore.

This particular sheet comes in 4 designs (2 multi colour and 2 monocolour) - find it HERE!!

I used to hate water decals...I simply couldn't use them , but trying and trying showed me that practice does make perfect!

The manicure I did today took me around 10-15 mins to finish, including the drying time of the base nail polish.

Water decals are a quick alternative to a fancy manicure or a "good friend' for accent nails - i usually use them for accent nails. I said usually, because today I did a full manicure with them.

Yes, my blog post is in english, but I have to tell you that my fav thing to eat for Christmas is piftie , why am I telling you that? I have no idea. hihi

The technique of using water decals is simple :
1.paint your nails (usually with a white nail polish- like this the design will really pop up) and let them dry completely
2. take the water decal sheet and cut the desired pattern/size
3.remove the plastic protection sheet
4. submerge in water for...10-20 seconds (the design should come off very easily now)
5. stick it on the nail and made it even,(i use a make up/ombre nail sponge to do this step), cut the excess water decal (if present) and file the tip a bit to remove any ugly corners or such things
6. add topcoat and enjoy a gorgeous manicure

It sounds complicated and time consuming but once you get used to doing this type of manicure you'll never want to stop ESPECIALLY because there are literally thousands of designs, different colours and shapes.

*do not mistake water decals for nail stickers- they are 2 different things, and the latter is more complicated to use, especially the full nail sticker and it doesn't last as long as a water decal*

What is love? - MoyouNails

Hello darlings.

Today I am going to show you another manicure- one I did this morning.

As you already know....I recently received the new MoyouNails- Concept Collection to review, and today I have a new plate to show to you.

Today I will show you plate no. 306
You can find the whole collection HERE!! at a special price and with 2 nail polishes as a gift.

For today's manicure I decided to do a pink base and stamp the little Cupid with white and stamp the word "love" with a darker pink.
This plate is simply perfect for a lovely manicure and of corse for Valentine's Day!
Since I believe that you have to show how much you love your SO everuday....I believe that you can use designs from this plate any day of the year.
As I said before, I was never disappointed by a plate from MoyouNails- I still can say that. Every design from this plate transfers perfectly on the stamper and on the nail.
You can find this plate HERE!!

To be able to do this manicure I had to make DIY decals- it took sometimes but I got the little Cupid exactly where I wanted him to be.

Textura, mov, decals..

Buna seara.

DIY purple decals.

Hello lovelies.

Today I want to show you a manicure I did 3 days ago (some of you might have seen it on IG @ditttanail) which I really love!

This is the second time I did homemade decals but it's the first time I am actually happy with the result. I think that using the OPI topcoat helped a lot...because it was really easy for me to take if off the stamper and stick it to my nail.

You can go on IG aand also see a small tutorial video of how I did this manicure.

I really like this technique and I think I will use it more often.

BornPrettyStore-Water decals review

Hello lovelies.

Tonight I want to show you some decals I've got from BornPrettyStore to try out. I've had them for a long time...but I couldn't do the blog post until now.

I saw a lot of manicures done with water decals...and they looked simply amazing and I wondered how girls do it. When I recieved these decals I was very happy because I finally had the chance to try something like that out.

Unfortunately, I must say that these are the hardest decals I've ever worked with. The final  design looks great...but to get there..was very hard.

Aren't the flowers beautiful?

I found out after I recieved them...that there are 2 types of water decals : individual designs or a full design(like this one) where you have to cut the flower yourself.
And by cutting it ...I mean piece by piece...(can you see the small orange flowers? how on earth would I ever be able to cut the flower perfectly?)

If this wasn't enough...the designs are visible only if you put them on white. (I tried purple, orange, black...)

The only thing I could think about...was to have a white base and then make a black outline (why?), because I couldn't cut the flowers perfectly and you could still see some black around the petals.

The flowers look amazing..but I wouldn't go trough all that trouble to have them on my nails.

If you are patient enough..then you should definitely buy them.
