Autumn And Winter Holidays Challenge - New Year's Eve

Good evening ladies.

For tonight I've prepared a manicure which I think it's perfect for the New Year's Eve Party.

It's simple, shinny, catchy- what more could you wish for?

I did this manicure some time ago using striping tape.

I hope you'll like it.

I also wish that every one of your wishes will come true in 2015.  I hope this new year will be better than the one we leave behind.

Autumn And Winter Holidays Challenge - Christmas Tree

Good evening everybody and a very Merry Christmas!

Tonight I will show you my fav. manicure from this season- I waited a very long time to show it to you.

Even if it's a not-so-typical Christmas mani (it's not red, nor green) I think it's a very nice colour combo- great for this time of year.

I am sorry to tell you that we have ONE more mani until this challenge will end- but I am sure we-ll find something new to do, we always do.

When I did my Christmas tree I was inspired my a manicure done by GiaMakeupBlog.(my tree doesn't look like hers at all...but that's what I was trying to do ) :)))

BornPrettyStore-Water decals review

Hello lovelies.

Tonight I want to show you some decals I've got from BornPrettyStore to try out. I've had them for a long time...but I couldn't do the blog post until now.

I saw a lot of manicures done with water decals...and they looked simply amazing and I wondered how girls do it. When I recieved these decals I was very happy because I finally had the chance to try something like that out.

Unfortunately, I must say that these are the hardest decals I've ever worked with. The final  design looks great...but to get there..was very hard.

Aren't the flowers beautiful?

I found out after I recieved them...that there are 2 types of water decals : individual designs or a full design(like this one) where you have to cut the flower yourself.
And by cutting it ...I mean piece by piece...(can you see the small orange flowers? how on earth would I ever be able to cut the flower perfectly?)

If this wasn't enough...the designs are visible only if you put them on white. (I tried purple, orange, black...)

The only thing I could think about...was to have a white base and then make a black outline (why?), because I couldn't cut the flowers perfectly and you could still see some black around the petals.

The flowers look amazing..but I wouldn't go trough all that trouble to have them on my nails.

If you are patient enough..then you should definitely buy them.

Christmas Challenge

I know I said in yesterday's post that I cannot post today...but I had to make some time to show a mani I did for a challenge I did with some ladies in a group on facebook. (We are the same ladies that did the "autumn challenge")

 I did a lot of Christmas-related manicures and today I will show you a simple one : red and gold. I think thst these 2 colours are perfect for this theme.

I did the mani using one of my fav reds from GoldenRose Rich Colour and a silver from TipTop.

Autumn And Winter Holidays Challenge - Winter Characters

Good evening lovelies!

Today I will show you the mani I did for this collab.(I should have posted it tomorrow but I won't be able to...so I'll be a little early)
I simply love this time of the year...which made this challenge very easy for me.
I choose to use water decals today.(it's the first time i use them)


Hope you like what I did, I for one, love it.

Avon stardust swatch

Hello hello!!

Today I am very happy to show you 3 nail polishes I bought from Avon. I have to mention that these are my first Avon nail polishes. (I wasn't a big fan but when I saw these beauties I had to have them)

First of all I have to tell you that they are very glitter-ish textured polishes and secondly, that they have a very good price. (I bought them for 10lei/ 2.85$ a piece)

I absolutely love the names BUT  I would have changed "crystalized pink" to "crystalized champagne", because I think it's a better fit.

Do I even need to talk about the bottles?
I LOVE LOVE them. (yes, I know, they are a lot like the ones Azature has, if not exactly the same)
I think that the bottles do a lot of "work" in the process of falling in love with them.

I will start showing you the pictures I took with each one of them...and at the end, I will tell you my opinion.

Well...these being shown, let me tell you some things about the polishes.
1.they are very easy to apply
2.they have a perfect cover in 2 coats
3. quick drying
4. I kept on my nails one of them for 3 days and they looked perfect
5. they shimmer like crazy
and last but not least (my fav part about them):
6. you can clean them very easy...there's no need to use the aluminium-foil technique. I was shocked to see that. This is a big plus for me.

As I said before, I am not a big fan of Avon nail polishes...or better said...I wasn't, because now I am in love with them.
I think I will try some from other collections too.
I recommend them to anybody who loves textured polishes or to those of you who wish to have a special mani but don't have the time to do some elaborate design.
